Policy Development |
|
- Develop an Internal Audit Framework
- Issue Audit Guidelines
- Review internal audit reports, identify weaknesses, make recommendations and develop Best Practice Guides
- Review external audit reports and address weaknesses identified
|

Implementation |
|
- Determine the Status of Internal Audit and assess the level of audit skills
- Establish Learnership programs to develop skills and knowledge base of internal auditors
- Facilitate internal audit training
- Continuous review of quality of Internal Audit services in preparation for Quality Assurance Reviews
- Communication with key stakeholders in order to enhance the value of Internal Audit
